BJP and RSS using Waqf as political weapon; Pinarayi Vijayan lashes out

MADURAI: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has alleged that the Waqf is being used as a political weapon by the BJP and the RSS. Criticizing the divisive politics in India, Pinarayi said that Kerala and Tamil Nadu stand united against the central government's neglect. He was speaking at the concluding session of the Party Congress.

The Chief Minister also commented on the Empuraan film, pointing out that despite not being a political film, it was targeted. He stated that the RSS is functioning as a censorship body greater than the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). Pinarayi reiterated his criticism of the divisive politics prevailing in the country. He also raised the issue of Manipur during his address at the Party Congress.
