MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan suffered injuries while shooting for Siddharth Anand's film ‘King’. The actor got injured while filming an action sequence in Golden Tobacco Studios in Mumbai. Although the details of the injury remain a secret, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly left for the US for treatment.
The injury is not serious, but the actor is experiencing muscle strain. It is reported that for the past two years, the actor has repeatedly suffered pain whenever filming stunt scenes in movies. Doctors have reportedly advised Shah Rukh to take complete rest for at least a month. The shooting schedule of the film has been put on hold. Locations like Film City, Golden Tobacco, and YRF Studios were booked for the shoot in July and August.
The next schedule is expected to resume in September or October. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Varma, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, and Jaideep Ahlawat. Although the official release date has not been announced yet, it is reported that the film is targeted for release for Gandhi Jayanti 2026.
Due to the current delay in production, it remains to be seen whether the film's deadline will be extended further.
