Actress Gayathri gets married to British citizen; function held in Kerala

Actress and social media influencer Gayathri Gopi got married. The groom is Jacob, a British citizen and her longtime friend. The couple got married after many years of dating. The ceremony was organised in the presence of family members and friends. Gayathri shared pictures and videos of the wedding celebrations on Instagram. Although the wedding was held in England last year, a special ceremony was organised for relatives and friends in Kerala now.

Gayathri now lives in Liverpool with Jacob.

“We got married on October 17th last year. But there were no ceremonies in Kerala. Ours was a love marriage. He is a team lead at Network Railways. We met at a care home three and a half years ago. We became close almost a year and a half ago. Jacob understands Malayalam. Jacob also knows a little about our culture and way of life,” said Gayathri.

Gayathri became noticeable to the Malayali audience after she appeared in a slew of short films and web series during the pandemic. She also boasts of a massive following on social media.
