Actor Ajmal Amir, who rose to fame with the 2007 film Pranayakalam, remains a popular figure among Malayalam cinema audiences. He has also appeared in several successful Tamil and Telugu films.
Recently, a private video call and voice chat allegedly involving the actor went viral on social media. The clip, shared via an Instagram page, appeared to show Ajmal on a WhatsApp call containing explicit audio.
In the video, a woman is heard asking Ajmal whether he is already married, to which he allegedly replies that it doesn’t matter and even offers to arrange accommodation. Social media discussions have suggested that the conversation was consensual between both parties.
Following the controversy, Ajmal publicly addressed the issue. In a video posted on Instagram, he denied any involvement, stating that the voice in the viral clip was generated using AI technology. He added that such false allegations would not affect him and expressed his gratitude to fans and supporters for standing by him.
