Actor Ajmal Amir recently came with a clarification after an audio message with lewd content, which the actor purportedly sent to a woman, surfaced on social media, sparking debate and criticism. After Ajmal’s clarification, more women raised allegations at the actor for misbehaving with them in cyberspace.

One actress:

“I was just 19 years old at that time. I received a message from his account, and frankly, I thought it would be someone else managing it, or the more plausible thought was it might be a prank. He asked about my location and then said he would meet me soon, as he was heading to the same location in a few days. He even sent me audio messages. Connecting the dots with the present issue, things became clear now.

An actress who worked with Ajmal has also come forward with allegations.

'The schedule was disrupted. I booked a bus to go back to Bengaluru. Ajmal, who was also there, insisted that we travel together on the flight. I generously denied his offer. When I reached Bengaluru, my phone beeped with a message from Ajmal. He started nicely but soon expressed his desire to meet me. He talked to me almost akin to what was heard in those audio leaks. Ajmal said he was in Indiranagar and would soon hit the streets for partying. I denied his offer, saying that my hostel warden would not allow us out during night hours.

Actress Roshna Roy has also come forward by sharing the messages that Ajmal sent to her.
