'Don't know about Baburaj's role, disgusting hatchet job on AMMA'; Actor Devan responds

In an interview with a media channel, actor Devan expressed his agony over the case filed against actress Shwetha Menon, which he termed nonsensical. Devan said he felt sad after knowing about the news against Shwetha.

DEVAN:

“Not just me, other senior members of our organisation expressed similar feelings about the case against Shwetha. I am still not getting the logic behind filing such a case. Shwetha acted in those movies as the script demanded it, and it was neither for any pleasure that she did those works. Those are movies approved by the censor board, which even ran in packed houses in theatres.

These are believed to be the handiwork of an unholy nexus that wants to disrupt the elections in AMMA. This was nothing but a hatchet job to destroy AMMA. I don’t know if Baburaj is in any way involved in this conundrum. There is indeed a mystery, and AMMA will get the better of it.”

On Wednesday, the Police booked actress Shwetha Menon for acting in pornographic movies and then propagating the movie among the public to make financial profits.
