Double delight; Biju Menon wins national award after state award

ss

After winning the state film award for the best actor in 2021, Biju Menon has now won the national award. Biju Menon won the best supporting actor award for his magnificent performance in Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

Ayyappanum Koshiyum has also won three other major awards. The film's director Sachi won the best director award. The film also won the award for Best Stunt Choreography. Nanjiyamma won the best playback singer award for the song in the film. Biju Menon won the national award for playing the role of Ayyappan Nair nicknamed 'Mundoor Maadan.' Biju Menon's character as a policeman was more popular than Prithviraj's character as the antagonist Koshi.

The film, which tells the story of the grudge and rivalry between Ayyappan and Koshi, won the hearts of the audience with thrilling fight scenes and scintillating acting moments. Biju Menon delivered just the right amount of mass-action fight scenes in the film without any exaggeration. That may be the reason why Mundoor Maadan became more popular with the audience than Koshi.

Biju Menon is one of the finest actors in the Malayalam film industry today. His excellence is also evident in his choice of characters. This is perhaps the reason why he was selected as the best actor at the 52nd State Film Awards. Biju Menon won the state award for his role as a 72-year-old in the film Aarkkariyam.
