'Got pregnant on first month of dating Jagat,’ says Amala Paul

Amala Paul is popular not only in the Malayalam film industry but also in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Amala Paul married Jagat Desai in November 2023. The couple welcomed their first child named ‘Ilai’ on June 11. The actress is attending all the interviews as part of her movie promotion even though it has been only two months since she gave birth to the baby. Amala had given an interview on Pearle Maaney’s YouTube channel a few days ago. Many parts of the interview had gone viral.

Amala openly said in the interview that she got pregnant before marriage. Having had a bad experience with my first marriage, I decided to marry someone only after dating for six months or a year. However, all that changed after meeting Jagat. She said that her son was growing inside from the time she started dating. Hence, Amala believes that he is a vital presence in her and Jagat's life.

Amala stayed in Jagat's villa when she and her family went to Goa for a holiday last year. Jagat had earlier mentioned in an interview that he fell in love with Amala as soon as she landed. Amala got pregnant within a month of dating. So, for a good part of their dating period, the baby was also with her. The two tied the knot soon.

In the beginning, Jagat did not know that Amala was a well-known actress. She said that she is a business entrepreneur. Jagat, who is not a Malayali, realized who she was when someone saw her name in the register of the villa and asked on a WhatsApp group if she was Amala Paul, the actress who acted with Ajay Devgn. When they were dating, Amala gave the link of her private Instagram page.
