Tamil cinema's highly anticipated film 'Kanguva', starring Suriya, hit the theatres across the world on Thursday. The film, directed by Siva, is an epic fantasy action However, the film received mixed responses from the audience on the first day. 'Kanguva', made on a whopping budget of 350 crores, is the biggest film in Suriya's career.
Bollywood star Bobby Deol plays the main villain in 'Kanguva'. The other actors in the film are Disha Patani Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, KS Ravikumar, Jagapathy Babu, Hareesh Uthaman, Natarajan, Anand Raj, Redin Kingsley and Kovai Sarala. Vetrivel Palanisamy handled the cinematography, while Devi Sri Prasad composed the songs for the film.
Now, actor Bala, who is also the brother of director Siva, has shared his opinion about the film. Speaking to a YouTube channel, Bala said that the film has turned out to be a massive hit in Tamil Nadu. Bala's wife Kokila also said that she liked the film very much.
"I liked 'Kanguva' very much. I got scared after watching the first 15 minutes and felt as if something was missing in the film. Later, things got entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed the portions post-interval. I unknowingly clapped during the second half. As per reports, the film is a huge hit in Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, some people are having difficulty understanding the ancient Tamil dialect. I liked the film very much. Different people have different opinions about the film. They can express their opinion," Bala said.
