KOCHI: There is dissatisfaction in the Mahila Congress after Congress released the second phase list for the assembly elections yesterday. The activists alleged that the Mahila Congress leaders did not get due consideration for the assembly seats. Dissatisfaction is brewing within the organization that not even one of the Mahila Congress leaders was given a seat. Mahila Congress president Jebi Mather is facing flak for this.
The main criticism is that while the KSU and Youth Congress chiefs exerted pressure by providing a precise list for the people in their organization, Mahila Congress president Jebi Mather did not give a list. A section of activists alleged that the state president's failure to advocate for seats for Mahila Congress leaders has affected the organization's confidence.
