'Not many know this fact'; Actor Noby Marcose about MP AA Rahim

Popular comedians Noby Marcose and Akhil Kavalayoor recently appeared on a television game show and that episode is currently trending on social media.

Noby opened up about his bonhomie with Akhil which started in 2004 and took pride in not having a single fight with him for almost two decades.

Noby:

“Rahim Annan was my neighbour and (A A Rahim) taught me mono-act in the initial days. He was a popular actor back then and some of his theatre works were highly popular among the masses."

Akhil:

‘Some twenty years before I chanced upon a newspaper advertisement asking for new actors. The school was closed and I immediately sent a letter to the address from Kavalayoor while Noby sent one from Venjarumoodu. It was at that place that we met for the first time.

Surprising us, it was a grand program which required seven-day rehearsals. Dr Arun was also there at the event, along with me Noby and ‘Biriyani’ director Sajin Babu. The program went on for another seven days and we got Rs 14,000 as remuneration. It was big money during that time.
