Prithviraj says, ‘Loved that theme, not to do that film with Mammootty again’

The fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Prithviraj-Mohanlal combo's film Empuraan. The film will hit the theatres on March 27. Meanwhile, actor Prithviraj has revealed that he had to drop a film with Mammootty.

'Dropped a film of director Amal Neerad. The film was titled 'Arival Chuttika Nakshatram'. The film got shelved for various reasons. It was a theme that I liked a lot. However, that storyline came up in some other films. The film may not happen again. It was a film in which Mammootty and I were supposed to work together,' said Prithviraj.

Meantime, Empuraan is the second part of Lucifer, one of the all-time super hit films in Malayalam, which had Mohanlal-Prithviraj duo. Empuraan is being produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions, a leading Tamil banner. In addition to Malayalam, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.

Apart from Mohanlal the film has Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith, Baiju Santhosh, Saniya Iyyappan, etc. are playing important roles in the film.
