ABU DHABI: In a relief for expatriates, the UAE government has announced that its airspace has been fully reopened and all temporary restrictions have been lifted. This will allow airlines, including Indian carriers, to operate full services again.

The move is expected to help reduce the high airfares that had risen sharply following the Iran conflict. With the reopening, Indian airlines that were operating special flights can now return to regular services. This will increase the number of seats and bring down ticket prices.

Earlier, while UAE-based airlines had resumed operations, Indian carriers had not fully restarted services, causing difficulties for expatriates. With all temporary restrictions now removed, normal operations are expected to resume in cities, including Dubai. The decision is also likely to improve the efficiency of connecting flights and long-haul travel.
