Rs 15 crore remuneration, more about Premalu 2; Actress Mamitha Baiju responds

Pradeep Ranganathan-Mamitha Baiju's film "Dude" is about to hit the theatres. The trailer of the movie, laced with the idiosyncratic Pradeep touch, has hit the right chords with youngsters. The film, directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, stars Sarath Kumar, Neha Shetty, Hridu Haroon, Sathya, Rohini, Dravid Selvam, Aishwarya Sharma and Garuda Ram.

According to Mamitha Baiju, the movie brings a social message and falls in the genre of emotional family drama.

Mamitha Baiju also shared her experience of acting with Vijay. 'Sir is incredibly calm. He is very calm, no matter what happens. He observes people and once imitated me. Vijay sir and I share the same birthday. Unfortunately, there was no shoot on that day, thus the plans for a birthday party at the same set got foiled.

Mamitha also responded to the rumours that she increased her remuneration to Rs 15 crore for one movie. “Those are the numbers born out of the imagination of a few people. They rant at me on social media, saying who is she to charge this much despite being in the industry for a short time.

I don’t know where these numbers came from. People are critiquing me on social media for someone writing a joke about my remuneration.”

When asked about the update on the movie Premalu 2, Mamitha Baiju said she doesn't have a clue.
