'Sacred land of God'; 'Kantara Chapter 1' Malayalam trailer is out

Prithviraj Sukumaran has officially released the Malayalam trailer of the much-awaited film 'Kantara Chapter 1', written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The three-minute trailer is packed with stunning visuals, mostly in hues of tinted green, showing the sacred land nestled inside the jungle. The plot gives hints at a classic good-evil conflict.

The trailer is a myriad of scenes of different genres, with humour also gaining prominence. The periodic movie laced with fantasy was all in the news after more than five artists and technicians, part of the crew, died while at the movie set. This series of deaths had cast a shadow of mystery over the movie.

The Chapter 1 version, which stars Rishab Shetty in the lead role, also features a stellar cast of Indian cinema stars like Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah. B. Ajaneesh Loknathan is composing the music that matches Arvind Kashyap's camerawork and visuals, while Vinesh Banglan is designing the production of this cosmic film. The distribution rights of Kantara Chapter 1, produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, will be released in Kerala by Prithviraj Productions, owned by Malayali's favourite actor Prithviraj.
