'She is now in Australia, hates me like anything'; Actor Kollam Thulasi talks about life

KOLLAM: Actor Kollam Thulasi turned emotional while speaking at an event held at Gandhi Bhavan the other day. The actor recalled how he ended up in Gandhi Bhavan after being abandoned by his wife and daughter.

Kollam Thulasi:

“There is something that many people do not know. I was a resident here. When I felt orphaned, I came here and stayed for six months. When my wife and children left me, I sought refuge at this same place. Even my daughter, whom I raised with love and care, avoids me even today. She is an engineer, settled in Australia with her husband, a doctor. They hate me like anything.

Lovely is an actress who worked with me in many films. She has acted in many plays, too and is a state award recipient. However, her husband and children left her all of a sudden. We do not know what is in store for us. Life can change at any point.”
