Maala Parvathi is an actress who actively comments on social issues. She recently opened up about a distressing encounter in the film industry. In an interview, she disclosed an unpleasant experience with a Tamil actor who showed inappropriate behaviour while working with her.

"I had a different image then, coming from a background in television. Joining cinema at a later age, I never faced such issues in Mollywood. However, the Tamil actor I worked with behaved inappropriately. I immediately called my husband Satheesh, who encouraged me saying we are not the ones to back down. 'You can only win,' he said, emphasizing that we should not confine ourselves at home just because he doesn't know how to behave," clarified Maala Parvathi.
