Blessy's Aadujeevitham has hit the big screens. Brilliant comments are coming from the audience about Prithviraj's acting and Blessy's direction. Meanwhile, Prithviraj took a trip down memory lane in an interview to Kaumudy Movies.
Prithvi said, ‘We had thought why this film could not be shot in India. Blessy Chettan always dreamt that this film should be shot in a real organic way. Blessy Chettan dreamt of making the film where elements, actors and animals interacted live in real locations. Blessy Chettan was not ready to compromise on that. I think the film has got the benefit of that.
As for shooting in India, after completing the schedule in Kerala, a decision was taken to set an important location in Jaisalmer. Sunil was the art director then. Sunil and his team went to Rajasthan and did preliminary survey and things.
The big challenge then was that we don’t have these breeds of goats and camels in India. We first thought of buying 250 goats and camels from Saudi Arabia and bring them to India in a container and take them back later after shooting. We did a lot of things for that. However, from the part of the Animal Husbandry Department of India there is a lot to do with this life stock. We didn’t get the clearance,' said Prithviraj.
