Geetu Mohandas, director of Yash’s new movie ‘Toxic’, is now battling cyber criticism over the intimate scenes used in the movie’s teaser. Netizens reminded the actress-turned-director of the infamous incident at an event that happened a few years ago, when Geetu forced actress Parvathy Thiruvothu to speak out against actor Mammootty for doing scenes in the movie Kasaba, which the actress deemed derogatory to women in general.
As per rumours, Geetu and Parvathy had a rift following the release of the first promo of Toxic. Parvathy later unfollowed Geetu and shared a bizarre image on social media. Parvathy is yet to respond to the new teaser of Toxic, which is now being talked about.
It was at the peak of her career that Parvathy criticised 'Kasaba' movie and actor Mammootty. As per insiders in the industry, this strange move to publicly turn against Malayalam’s superstar actor had its effect on her career. Despite appearing in content-oriented films, Parvathy seldom made any appearance in commercial films.
