Venkitesh as 'Murugan' against 'Suri'? Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' trailer viral

The trailer of the blockbuster action film "Kingdom" directed by superhit director Gowtham Tinnanuri, who made a mark in the hearts of the audience with the film 'Jersey', is out. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, and Malayalam star Venkitesh VP alias Venky plays the villain. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Venky's performance alongside Vijay Deverakonda.

Vijay Deverakonda is seen in a mass role in two different looks in the film, which is being made in Telugu and Tamil. The other main roles in the film, produced by Sithara Entertainment and Fortune 4 Cinemas, are played by Sathya Dev and Bhagyashree Borse. The trailer gives an indication that the highlight of the film is the spectacular action scenes. The film will be released globally on July 31. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films will bring the film to Kerala.

'Kingdom' marks the Telugu debut of Venkitesh, who is known to the audience through a handful of notable films in Malayalam. Venkitesh, who won the award for best comedian in the reality show "Nayika Nayakan", has since gained attention for his excellent performances as a romantic hero and in emotionally deep characters. Venkitesh's performances in films like Lovefully Yours Veda and Stand Up have received great appreciation from the audience and critics. Venkitesh also gave a remarkable performance in the Mammootty-starrer "The Priest". Now, Venkitesh is ready to showcase another level of his talent through the film Kingdom.
