ABU DHABI: The UAE kingdom's latest announcement will serve as relief for the residents and the NRIs settled in the country. The petrol and diesel prices for December were announced and it is soothing news for everyone.
Super 98 petrol will be reduced to 2.96 dirhams per litre. It was 3.03 dirhams in November. The new price of Special 95 petrol is Dhs 2.85 per litre. The price in November was 2.92 dirhams. The December price of E Plus 91 petrol is Dhs 2.77 per litre. Diesel is priced at Dhs 3.19 per litre. It was 3.42 dirhams in November.
As part of the deregulation policy announced in August 2015, UAE revised local fuel retail rates at the end of every month. This is to bring fuel prices in the country in line with global prices. The reduction in petrol prices is a big relief for those working in the sales and transport sectors, especially for expatriates.
