Youth crushed to death under tipper lorry's dump box

KOCHI: A young man died after being trapped under the dump box of a tipper lorry. The deceased has been identified as Sujil (26), a native of Nettoor. The accident occurred around 8 PM near the Neduvelli Temple in Udayamperoor.

The lorry’s dump box had been left raised. As it started to rain, Sujil stood under the dump box to avoid getting wet. At that moment, the dump box suddenly fell to the ground, trapping Sujil between the dump box and the chassis.
