12 fall ill after eating chicken shawarma from famous hotel, action taken

MUMBAI: 12 people who ate chicken shawarma were admitted to the hospital after feeling unwell. Those who had eaten from a hotel in Mumbai's Goregaon, which served non-vegetarian street food, were among those admitted. The incident occurred yesterday.

Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has confirmed that 12 people fell ill due to food poisoning. The hospital superintendent told the media that nine of them have recovered and left the hospital, while three are still undergoing treatment. It has been confirmed that people who ate shawarma from the hotel on Friday suffered from food poisoning. It has also been found that those who felt unwell had informed the hotel staff about the incident on both Friday and Saturday. The food department has ordered an inspection of the hotel.

76 students who ate at a hostel in Uttar Pradesh's Noida sought treatment at the hospital due to food poisoning. The incident occurred last Saturday. The food poisoning was caused by the students who ate the evening meal at the hostel. The victims of food poisoning are studying in various colleges in Noida. They were admitted to the hospital after experiencing dizziness and vomiting during the night. The police have reported that the health condition of the students is satisfactory and examinations are ongoing.
