NEW DELHI: As per an intelligence report, Pakistan is employing minors to steal crucial information from India. It is reported that 37 children from Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab fell for the persuasion and were trained as Pakistani spies.
This shocking information came to light after a 14-year-old boy, who was recruited by the Pakistani spy agency ISI, was arrested in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. The ISI was taking advantage of the emotional distress of the child, who had recently lost his father and was addicted to mobile phone use. The information on the child's mobile phone reached Pakistan in real time. The information was revealed after the child's phone was monitored by the cyber wing.
The child, adept at using mobile phones, was active in Pakistan-based chat rooms instead of attending school. The spy agency befriended him and later started giving him missions. The information was leaked by hacking the children's phones.
1. Information on strategic locations of the army and military movements, including photos and videos, was collected by the Pakistan Army and terrorist organisations
2 Contact was also made with the head of the Pakistani drug mafia, Sajid Bhatti. The boy had been in contact with Pakistan-based terrorist organisations for more than a year
3 The Pakistani agents acted by making promises, including providing weapons, and exploiting the boy's technological curiosity
