NOIDA: A complaint has been lodged against a minor girl of a daycare for assaulting a 15-month-old baby girl. The baby girl’s parents also alleged that the baby has bite marks on her thighs. CCTV footage from the daycare has surfaced. The footage shows the minor attendant hitting the baby.

The video shows the attendant hitting the baby on her face and dropping her to the ground intentionally. The incident happened at the daycare in Paras Tierea Residential Complex in Noida’s Sector 137. Seeing the marks on her thighs, her parents thought that it was some allergic reaction.

The family took her to a doctor and on examination, the doctor told them that the marks were caused by bites. The parents then filed a complaint with the police. The parents also alleged that the daycare owner threatened them when they complained about this. The police have registered a case in the incident. The police said that the attendant has been arrested and further investigation is underway.

‘The baby was sent to the daycare on May 21 and the marks were noticed on August 4. The baby was sent to the daycare for two hours daily. The daycare owner said that there are three teachers and that they would handle the child. We pay Rs 2500 for two hours, the baby’s father told media. The father alleged that there are other minor attendants to look after children in the day care.
