18 killed, many injured after double-decker bus collides with tanker in UP

LUCKNOW: At least 18 people have been killed after the double-decker bus they were travelling in collided with the milk tanker at Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. Many have sustained injuries. The accident happened on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway Wednesday morning. The death of 18 people including three women and a child have been confirmed.

The double-decker bus going to Delhi from Bihar rammed the milk tanker from the back. All the dead are passengers of the bus. Police said the people flung out of the vehicle due to the impact of the collision. All the injured were taken to a hospital. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the concerned officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
