BENGALURU: A clash following the Onam celebrations at a college in Bengaluru ended with one of the students getting stabbed. The injured person is a second-year student at the Acharya College of Nursing in Soladevanahalli, Bengaluru. He was attacked along with another student when a group consisting of former students stormed into their paying guest (PG) accommodation. The injured students have lodged a complaint with the police.
The incident took place on Monday night. Several former students and locals were part of the group that attacked the two students. The group entered the PG facility with sharp weapons and attacked the two on their stomach and head. The condition of Ernakulam native Adithyan, who was stabbed in the stomach, is said to be serious.
Soladevanahalli police have registered a case against 5 persons in connection with the incident. It is said that a dispute that broke out in connection with the Onam celebrations that took place at the college on Monday resulted in the attack.
