Good news for Bengaluru Malayalees ahead of holidays; Three weekly special trains extended till December

BENGALURU: The Railway Board decided to extend three weekly special trains from Bengaluru to Thiruvananthapuram till December. The decision was taken to ensure a comfortable travel for Malayalees during the upcoming festive season.

SMVT Bengaluru-Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express (0655) was earlier extended till October 3. The train will service the route till December 26. The returning Thiruvananthapuram North- SMVT Bengaluru Express Special has been extended till December 28. This train was earlier allowed till September 28.

The second train to be extended is the SMVT Bengaluru- Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express (06523). This service was allowed till September 15 but will now run till December 29. The returning Thiruvananthapuram North-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express (0652) has been extended till December 30.

The third train is the SMVT Bengaluru-Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express Special (06547). This train, which was scheduled to run till September 3, has been extended till December 24. The returning Thiruvananthapuram North-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (06548) was scheduled to run till September 4. This has been extended till December 25.
