NEW DELHI: A Gujarat native has been arrested for passing on crucial information about the Indian Air Force and Border Security Force to a Pakistani agent. The anti-terrorism squad has arrested health worker Sahdev Singh Gohil (28), who lives in Kutch. Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) senior officer K Siddharth told the media that Sahdev had sent pictures and videos of newly constructed and under-construction sites of the Air Force and BSF to a Pakistani agent.

Sahdev Singh was summoned for questioning on May 1 after receiving information that he was sharing information about the BSF and the Air Force with a Pakistani agent. Officials also said that they found that the agent had asked Sahdev Singh for photos and videos of the Air Force and BSF websites.

Sahdev Singh met an agent who introduced herself as Aditi Bharadwaj through WhatsApp in 2023. At the beginning of 2025, Sahdev Singh had purchased a SIM card using his Aadhaar Card and activated WhatsApp on that number for Aditi Bharadwaj with the help of OTP. After that, all the photos and videos related to the BSF and the Air Force were sent to that number. Forensic examination revealed that the numbers used by Sahdev Singh to share information with Aditi Bharadwaj were being operated from Pakistan. Authorities also stated that Rs 40,000 had been deposited into his account.
