Historic moment for Navy, MiG 29K fighter jet makes maiden night landing at INS Vikrant; video

NEW DELHI: Today was a historic day for the Indian Navy. A MiG 29K fighter jet successfully completed a night landing on India's indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. This is the first time a MiG-29K aircraft has landed in Vikrant at night. The Indian Navy has shared footage of the first night landing on Twitter. It said that this achievement was an inspiration to Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the Navy on its historic achievement. Rajnath Singh said that this achievement is a testimony to the skills, perseverance and professionalism of the Vikrant crew and Naval pilots.
