NEW DELHI: Airports across India witnessed a beeline of passengers after a software glitch was reported in India’s domestic air carrier IndiGo. The check-ins in airports have been delayed due to the glitch, considerably affecting passengers across the country.
"Technical glitch is affecting the website and booking system. This has resulted in long queues at the airports.”- IndiGo Airlines announced in a statement.
Technical problems were encountered in the booking system at around noon. The operations were resumed after an hour, but still, the problems could not be resolved fully. The company added that its team is working to resolve the issues and ensure a smooth journey for users.
Meanwhile, many people have come forward through social media informing the difficulties faced while booking tickets.
