Kanpur couple dupes public with fake Israeli 'time machine,' escapes after stealing ₹35 crore

KANPUR: A couple duped people into believing they had an Israeli-made time machine that would help them stay young forever. They stole 35 crore rupees. The incident took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The case is against Rajeev Kumar Dubey and his wife Rashmi Dubey. It is suspected that the two absconded have gone abroad.

Rajeev and Rashmi started a therapy center called 'Revival World' in Kanpur's Kidwai Nagar area. Everyone was told that the therapy center had a time machine imported from Israel that could make a 60-year-old man look 25-year-old. The couple promised users that oxygen therapy could make the elderly look younger. Due to this, the therapy center became very crowded.

They misled people that people aged quickly due to the polluted air in the area and that oxygen therapy could bring back youth within months. 6,000 was charged for a package of 10 sessions. A three-year package was also offered for Rs 90,000.

One of the complainants, Renu Singh, said that the couple stole Rs 10.75 lakh from his hand. They stole around 35 crore rupees from hundreds of people. The police informed that a case has been registered in the incident and a search has been started for the couple.
