NEW DELHI: A man slithered through the high security cordon to land a kiss on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s cheeks during the voter rights rally in Bihar. The incident took place in Purnia on Sunday, the eighth day of the voter rights rally. Bihar Congress president Rajesh Kumar was riding pillion to Rahul Gandhi.
As the bike was moving amidst a tightly packed motor rally, a man came out of nowhere, kissed Rahul Gandhi and left the place. Before running into escape, the 'stranger kisser' was caught by one of the guards from Tejashwi's security team. The man received a slap for his daring move and was handed over to security personnel.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi's brother and expelled RJD leader Tej Pratap came forward to criticise Rahul and Tejashwi's bike rally.
The Voter Adhikar Yatra, which started from Sasaram on August 17, will cover 1,300 km in 16 days and will conclude in Patna on September 1. INDI alliance leaders will also participate in the concluding rally.
