Pastor arrested from Kerala for sexually abusing minor girls

CHENNAI: A 37-year-old pastor, an accused in a POCSO case, has been arrested for sexually abusing two minor girls. John Jebaraj, pastor of King Generation Prayer Hall in Coimbatore, was arrested from Munnar. He went into hiding after the police registered a POCSO case. He was popular among the youth for his new generation worship methods. The police brought him to Coimbatore.

The incident related to the case happened in May 2024. It is alleged that two minor girls were abused during a party as his residence in Coimbatore. The relatives of one of the girls lodged a complaint 11 months after the incident. The victims of the sexual assault were 17 and 14 years old. He conducts prayer services in various parts of India. He also has many followers on social media.
