NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to Thiruvananthapuram during the flag-off ceremony of the country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train held in Bengal. He spoke about the BJP’s victory in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation.
Modi said that Thiruvananthapuram has got a BJP mayor for the first time in history. He added that the BJP is recording big victories even in places where it was earlier expected to lose. This, he said, is because people have complete trust in the party’s development agenda. The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that the BJP will achieve a strong victory in Bengal as well.
