
NEW DELHI: Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in India on December 4 to attend the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit. The summit will be held on December 5. The Ministry of External Affairs said the discussions will focus on reviewing progress in bilateral relations and strengthening the strategic partnership.
There are indications that some major defence agreements may be signed. The Ukraine war is also likely to come up during the talks. President Droupadi Murmu will host a banquet in honour of Putin. Putin last visited India in December 2021.
