Rahul questions Adani's link with PM Modi

NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi raised Gautam Adani's issue during the debate on the motion of thanks on the President's policy announcement. Rahul asked what was the relationship between the Prime Minister and Adani. Rahul Adani did not back down despite the Speaker and members of the ruling party asking him why he was raising this issue in the debate on the motion of thanks.

Adani's name was heard throughout the country during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. People want to know how Adani became so successful. Rahul also said that the PM is the answer to how Adani has succeeded in all areas. He then spoke by holding up a picture of Adani and Modi together.

Rahul said that the relationship between the two has been going on for years since Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Adani is beholden to the Prime Minister. Adani has paved the way for the development of Gujarat. Adani's industry also rose and that's how Adani became the second richest in the world Rahul pointed out.

He also alleged that the management rules of the country's airports were changed for the sake of Adani. Six airports came under Adani's control. Everything was facilitated by the Prime Minister. But Rahul did not stop even though the ruling party and the speaker asked again why this was being raised in the debate on the motion of thanks.

He added that after 2014, Adani's assets have increased manifold and Adani is an example of how to make money with government support. The administration demanded that Rahul Gandhi is violating the rules of Parliament and should not be allowed to make baseless allegations.

At the same time, there was a protest in the Parliament on the Adani controversy. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha broke up during the question session. Congress has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in connection with Adani. As soon as the question and answer session started, the opposition came forward demanding an investigation against the Adani Group.
