Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj get engaged with tears of joy; video going viral

LUCKNOW: Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party's youthful MP Priya Saroj have got engaged. Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj exchanged rings in a ceremony in Lucknow in the presence of political leaders and cricketers. SP president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, his wife Dimple Yadav, Congress leader and BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, and actress and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan were present at the ceremony.

Rinku Singh wore a sherwani, while Priya Saroj wore a beautiful pink lehenga. A video of Priya getting emotional when Rinku Singh put the ring on her at the ceremony is going viral on social media.

Rinku Singh is a regular presence in the Indian Twenty20 team and a player for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Priya is the youngest MP in the Lok Sabha and a Supreme Court lawyer. She is the daughter of senior SP leader Tufani Saroj.
