Saifullah Kasuri alias Khalid, commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba masterminded Pahalgam attack from Pakistan

PAHALGAM: Reports said Saifullah Kasuri alias Saifullah Sajid Jutt, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander is behind the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The attack was reportedly masterminded from Pakistan. A bike without a number plate was found from the spot. This vehicle may have been used by the terrorists. An investigation is also underway to find out where it was obtained from.

The attack was unleashed by six terrorists including two from Kashmir. It is assessed that went to Pakistan for training in 2017 and joined the last batch of foreign terrorists. An NIA team has gone to Pahalgam. It is reported that a local terrorist has been identified. Adil Thokar of Bij Bahera is part of the terrorist group.

Meantime, the death toll in the Pahalgam terror attack has touched to 29.
