Sexually abused and impregnated 15-year-old girl; 17 individuals including minor boy arrested

VIJAYAWADA: A shocking incident has come to light from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, where a 15-year-old girl was brutally raped by 14 individuals, resulting in pregnancy. According to the police, the abuse had been going on for two years. The girl revealed that she had been subjected to continuous sexual assault until about two months ago.

The matter came to light only after it was discovered that she was eight months pregnant. The girl, who was living with her mother, has been admitted to the hospital.

According to the girl, the first assault occurred when she was studying in Class 8. The police have taken 17 individuals, including a minor, into custody in connection with the case. The police said that the girl was repeatedly assaulted even while on her way to school. They also stated that the perpetrators had threatened to kill her if she revealed the abuse to anyone. The police are investigating how the family failed to notice that she was eight months pregnant.
