What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see a beggar? He may not have money to buy a meal, nor does he have any decent clothes or a house. However, Bharat Jain from Mumbai will change all these concepts and he may be the richest beggar in the world.

National media reports that Bharat Jain has assets worth crores. He earns more money than many educated professionals in India.

He owns two flats worth Rs 1.4 crore. He has two shops in Thane. He gets Rs 30,000 as rent monthly. He begs in crowded places in Mumbai. Bharat Jain is the owner of an empire worth Rs 7.5 crore. He earns Rs 60,000 to Rs 75,000 monthly through begging. He was unable to get an education and his family constantly suffered from hunger and poverty. He achieved everything through his willpower.

He has a wife and two sons. He gave his children the education he did not get. Bharat Jain has been begging for more than forty years. Jain usually works 10 to 12 hours a day without breaks. He earns more than Rs 2,000 per day. Some in his family disagree with Bharat Jain continuing begging despite earning crores. His children, who studied at a convent school, run the family business.
