TVK's second state conference in Madurai; Vijay’s parents attend as special guests

MADURAI: The second state conference of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), the political party launched by actor Vijay, saw the presence of his parents S.A. Chandrasekhar and Shobha as special guests. Videos of Vijay warmly greeting them on stage have since gone viral across social media platforms.

The conference is being held at a specially prepared venue on a 500-acre ground near the Eliyarpathi toll booth on the Madurai–Thoothukudi national highway. Earlier, it was announced that around 1.5 lakh people would attend the event. The conference began under tight security arrangements.
