IDUKKI: Body parts were found buried near Pachady in Nedumkandam. The parts were found in the house premises of Marykutty of Pachady. Marykutty Mathew (70) and her son Reji (48) had been missing for quite some time. The police suspect that the two may have killed and buried. A forensic team has reached the spot and is conducting detailed examinations.

When the two were found missing, the locals had queried Marykutty's younger son. Suspicious of his contradictory replies, the locals informed Marykutty's daughter. Subsequently, the police conducted a search based on the complaint filed by her, and the body parts were found. Idukki SP said Marykutty's younger son Saji is missing and anyone who sees him should inform the police.

Marykutty's son-in-law Raju said a verbal dispute breaks out between Reji and Saji every day. Marykutty’s daughter filed a complaint with the police yesterday. Saji was found missing since last evening. Tried to contact him on the phone but could not. Raju also said that when enquired about his mother earlier, Saji had given contradictory answers.
