THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP has filed a complaint alleging that Education Minister V Sivankutty, the LDF candidate in Nemom constituency, violated the model code of conduct. The complaint says that he misused his ministerial position to seek votes. The BJP’s legal in-charge has submitted a complaint to the returning officer regarding this.

Nemom is the constituency where the BJP first opened its account in Kerala. LDF candidate V Sivankutty is continuing his election campaign actively without rest. He is meeting voters directly in various wards and key locations in the constituency, asking for their votes. Along with party workers, he is urging people to vote for the LDF to ensure continued development.

UDF candidate K S Sabarinathan is focusing his campaign on major junctions in the constituency. Recently, the Nemom constituency UDF convention was held at Sreevatsam Auditorium in Pappanamcode, and it was inaugurated by AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal.

NDA candidate and BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar is campaigning with the promise that, along with victory in the corporation, a BJP win in the assembly will speed up the development of Thiruvananthapuram.
