
LONDON: Tijo Joseph, a young entrepreneur from Kerala, was honoured at the British Parliament for his outstanding contributions to the UK's business landscape. The award ceremony, held in the historic Westminster Hall, saw former UK Business Minister and current Minister of State for Police and Crime, Sarah Jones, present him with the recognition.
Tijo Joseph, who has been actively involved in the UK business sector for a decade, received the Outstanding Achiever in Multiple Industries award. He leads ventures across diverse fields, including Finance, Mortgage, Healthcare, Technology, Property Development, and Beauty & Wellness. The Manju Shahul Hameed Mental Health Foundation, which conferred the award, noted that Tijo's multi-faceted business network has created employment opportunities and generated significant social impact across the country.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including British MPs Baroness Manzila Uddin and Natasha Irons, Croydon Mayor Richard Chatterji, Councillor Dr Manju Shahul Hameed, Indian High Commission official Shahid Alam (London), and BBC Wellbeing Manager Marvin Francis.
Tijo, who hails from Ayarkunnam in Kottayam, operates with Newport, Wales, as his base, with establishments across the UK. He has previously won several national and international awards for his excellence in business, leadership, and social commitment. Earlier this year, he was also the recipient of the Excellence in Multi-Industry Award presented by the Global Indian Business Forum to individuals achieving notable success in the global business sector.
