Israeli national held in Mundakayam for unauthorized use of satellite phone

KOTTAYAM: Police arrested an Israeli citizen for using a satellite phone without permission in Kottayam on Saturday. David Eli Liz Bona (75), a native of Israel, was caught with a satellite phone.

David came from Israel to visit the backwaters of Kumarakom. He was on his way to Thekkady with his wife when police ambushed him. He was taken into custody at Mundakayam. Intelligence and police interrogated David and released him on bail.
