22-year-old woman gang-raped in Kozhikode; three arrested, search on for another accused

KOZHIKODE: Three people accused of gang raping a 22-year-old woman have been arrested. The incident took place in Pantheerankavu, Kozhikode. As per the complaint the girl was sexually abused after giving her juice laced with intoxicants. All three arrested are natives of Chevayur. They are being interrogated in detail. Search has been intensified for another accused who was with them.

The woman lodged a police complaint two days ago. In the complaint, the woman says that the incident happened a long time ago. They met each other through social media, establish intimacy and then abused her at a flat. After receiving the complaint, the police conducted a detailed investigation. FIR was registered on Thursday.
