60-year-old thrashed for questioning peeing in washbasin

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A middle-aged man was attacked by youths for questioning the act of urinating in the washbasin. He was attacked at the comfort station inside the medical college bus stand. The Medical College police have arrested Nithin (30) of Chirayinkeezhu and Joy (28) of Poonthura, in the incident. The incident happened Thursday evening at around 4 pm.

Roy (60) of Pettah, suffered serious head and ear injuries in the attack. The youths were under the influence of alcohol. The youths hit Roy on his head several times with a beer bottle. CCTV footage of the youths brutally thrashing him has emerged.
