Auto driver arrested for sexually abusing disabled girl in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: An auto driver has been arrested in Kozhikode for sexually abusing a disabled girl while taking her to school. The Nadakkavu police arrested Haridasan of Valayanadu.

The girl regularly goes to school in his auto. He abused her on the way to school. The turning point in the incident was when a parent of another child called the auto driver’s mobile phone and he accidentally answered the call.

Hearing the girl crying, the parent informed the school authorities. The school authorities immediately informed the police. When Haridasan was caught and grilled, he told confessed to the crime.
