KOCHI: The Forest Department has confirmed that the animal tooth that was on the necklace of rapper Vedan (Hirandas Murali) is tiger tooth itself. With this, the Forest Department has registered a case against Vedan. The case has been filed under non-bailable sections. The police recovered a billhook knife and a machete during the search conducted at Vedan's flat. The police have taken this into custody.
Seven grams of ganja were seized during a search conducted at Vedan's flat this morning. When the police arrived at the flat following a tip-off, nine people, including Vedan, were there. When asked by the media whether it was a police hunt, Vedan replied that it was not. Vedan was taken to the Hill Palace police station after the search was completed.
